E.MC Provides Compact Cylinder Solutions

E.MC's SQ series and SF series compact cylinders offer a compact alternative to standard pneumatic cylinders. These cylinders are constructed with strong, self-lubricating bronze bearings to deliver high guiding and lateral loading performance, whilst the piston rod and rod connection are designed with a rotary riveting structure, ensuring high concentricity, smooth running and a low starting pressure.

Dynamic seals manufactured in Japan, alongside German grease, give the units a longer life cycle. Both the SQ and SF cylinders feature a riveted rear cap and cylinder body, for dependable assembly, whilst the front caps and barrels are connected by buckle for easy maintenance to the units.

SQ compact cylinders are designed complete with slots for magnetic switches to three sides and bore sizes ranging from 16 mm to 100 mm (alternative sizes available upon request).

The SF series has a standard cylinder profile, but delivers 50% space saving when compared to ISO 15552 VDMA standard cylinders. Designed to meet ISO 21287 standards, the cylinder is designed with slots for magnetic switches in four sides and bore sizes range from 20 mm to 100 mm. Its double-ended cushion gasket also provides smooth reversing and minimises mechanical damage.
