In-house Testing

Our expert engineering team provide fully accredited in-house hydrostatic and static pneumatic testing in our custom facility at our Preston HQ. They can also ‘pull test’ and validate all crimp data for EN 139 breathing air apparatus requirements.

• Hydrostatic pressure testing up to 10,000 psi
• Static pneumatic pressure testing up to 600 psi

All crimp settings have been validated through a series of in-house tests which include:

• Static pneumatic pressure testing up to 600 psi
• Tensile ‘pull test’ to verify the integrity of the crimp

Hydraulic Hose Assembly Capabilities

We can manufacture hose assemblies on site up to 1" 1sn, 2sn and 4sp and pressure test up to 10,000psi hydrostatically, complete with 100% batch test traceability and certification if required.

We also assemble both smooth bore and convoluted PTFE lines st/st over braided hose assemblies up to 1".

We offer ½” twin “breaker assemblies” to both catalogued lengths and bespoke variants to customers specifications. These can be set as a standard part number for re-ordering.

Low Pressure/Pneumatic Hose Assembly Capabilities

Our facility covers a wide range of low-pressure hose assembly options including braided rubbers, pvc and polyurethanes. We can assemble anything from a simple single line assembly with 8 jaw pallet crimped ends up to complicated umbilical multi lines configurations. We also assemble air prep sets to customer specifications.

All pneumatic low-pressure assemblies are produced to internal standards and crimp settings have been validated through a series of in-house tests including a static pneumatic pressure test and a tensile pull test to verify the integrity of the crimp.

The pull test requirement was developed from the en139 breathing air specification and has been adopted (where possible) across all hose configurations as a minimum.

We have an in house static pneumatic pressure test capacity of up to 600psi, with 100% batch test traceability and certification if required.

We also have the capability to individually shrink wrap all hose assemblies as well as mark, engrave label as required.
